Critic Farm is committed to ensuring that criticfarm.com and our educational content, free tools, calculators, and interactive matching quiz (collectively, the “Services”) are accessible to people of all abilities, including people with disabilities.

1. Our Commitment

We strive to make the Services usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is the generally recognized standard for web accessibility, and to comply with applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as they apply to online content.

2. Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are taking steps to:

• Provide text alternatives for non-text content, including images and icons;
• Ensure sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements;
• Design the matching quiz, calculators, and forms to be navigable via keyboard and compatible with screen readers;
• Use clear, consistent navigation and labeling throughout the Services;
• Periodically review and test the Services for accessibility issues and remediate them where feasible;
• Train our content and development teams on accessibility best practices.

3. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible. We know of two areas in particular: the multi-step matching quiz, where focus handling between steps needs improvement, and our state comparison map, which conveys information visually and needs a fuller text equivalent alongside it. Both are on our list to fix. The state data behind the map is available as a table on each state’s own page in the meantime.

We embed no third-party widgets, advertising, or externally hosted forms on our pages, so there are no third-party components here whose accessibility is outside our control.

If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of the Services, or if you need assistance completing the matching quiz, a calculator, or any form (including by phone or an alternative accessible format), please contact us:

Please describe the specific page, feature, or content you had trouble accessing, along with the assistive technology or browser you were using, so we can investigate and address the issue as quickly as possible. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days.

We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect our ongoing efforts and any changes in applicable standards. This statement will be updated with a new “Last Updated” date when revised.
